Paris Fashion Safari Innovation

About Safari Innovation
This immersive 1-week course offers participants a transformative journey from the realms of traditional craftsmanship and heritage to the forefront of fashion tech and innovation in a major fashion capital: London or Paris. It serves as a platform for individuals to explore the evolution of fashion, leveraging both cultural legacies and cutting-edge technologies to create meaningful connections and pioneering designs.
Participants are tasked with reimagining elements of traditional craft (e.g. from Indonesian Batik or Ikat), heritage designs, and cultural motifs from Indonesia and British or French backgrounds. Through this creative process, they will bridge the gap between past and future, infusing contemporary fashion silhouettes with a blend of historical richness and technological innovation. Guided by experienced professors with diverse expertise, including a focus on fashion tech and innovation, participants will embark on an exploratory journey to push the boundaries of creativity and craftsmanship.
Upon completion of the Fashion Innovation Safari, participants will receive a Beyond Form Education and PDLM completion certificate, with assessments conducted at the conclusion of the week-long course. Additionally, projects that demonstrate exceptional innovation and creativity will be eligible for a Special Award from Beyond Form, recognizing the seamless integration of heritage craft and fashion tech. This accolade includes a mentorship session and opportunities for further exploration of fashion tech innovations.
